- Newborn Care: Dr. Heather Larson – Let us teach you all the baby basics and answer your newborn care questions. Bathing, nail trimming, diaper rash prevention, and essential gear? We know all about it!!
- What To Expect In Your Baby’s First Few Months: Dr. Ryan Hassan and Dr. Robert Cordes – Babies change constantly when they’re newborns, and not all babies meet their milestones at the same time. Find out what pediatricians watch for when it comes to baby development, and how you can help your little newborn thrive! You’ll also learn about upcoming Well Child Check appointments and our approach to immunizations.
- Breastfeeding and Infant Feeding: Katie Kennedy, RN, IBCLC – Feeding your baby is a journey that takes patience, perspective, and a whole lot of learning. We’re ready to give you the inside scoop on how to optimize your feeding experience—whether it’s breastfeeding or bottle-feeding—to keep you and your baby healthy, safe, and comfortable. Get to know our compassionate, judgement-free philosophy!
- Common Illnesses, What to Worry About and What NOT to Worry About When You Have A New Baby: Dr. Bruce Birk and Dr. Jay Rosenbloom – Even the tiniest sigh, sneeze, or rash can send a new parent into a tailspin. We’re here to reassure you about normal things new babies do, and to let you know about a few red flags that SHOULD draw your attention.
- Newborn Sleep: Dr. Kayla Buker and Dr. Peter Reed – Newborn sleep can seem like a complete conundrum but our providers are ready to set you up for success from day one with tips on sleep hygiene, sleep schedules, safe swaddling, realistic expectations, and the link between a solid feeding plan and quality rest for your little one.
- Soothing and Connecting With Your Baby and Their Siblings: Dr. Alex Cross-Knorr and Ali Tucker, BA – When a baby comes into the world, they join a bigger community of siblings and family members. You’ll glean all kinds of information from our expert behavioral health team about how to soothe and connect with your new baby, but also with siblings and extended family, during this transition.
- Parental Wellness and Postpartum Adjustment: Dr. Claire Ruggeri – Taking care of yourself is just as critical as taking care of your baby in what experts call The Fourth Trimester—the three months or so after a baby is born.
