Supporting Healthy Growth
and Lifelong Well-Being in Portland

Our Philosophy

Working Together to Support
Healthy, Thriving Children

Pediatric visits are about more than keeping immunizations up to date (though those matter, too). At Pediatric Associates of the Northwest, we see ourselves as partners and advocates in your child’s overall well-being. Each visit gives us time to closely monitor your child’s development, physical and mental health, and your family’s wellness goals. Through regular check-ins, we build strong relationships that help us prevent, identify, and address concerns as early as possible.

What to Expect

Pediatric Care Designed
for Your Child

From the first days of life through early childhood, regular pediatric visits play a vital role in your child’s development. Between birth and 3 years of age alone, the PANW team typically sees your child 14 times.

These early connections, which continue through adolescence and early adulthood, allow our providers to build trusted relationships while supporting physical, emotional, and social development. We listen closely to your questions and offer comprehensive medical and behavioral health services on site.

We also screen for and address concerns such as:

  • Anemia
  • Appropriate growth and nutrition
  • Depression/anxiety
  • Developmental milestones
  • Elevated cholesterol
  • Lead poisoning
  • Mental health
  • Substance abuse
  • Vision and hearing issues
Invested in Your Well-Being

Going the Extra Mile for Every Family

Our patients always come first. Whether that means using a gentle approach to help young patients feel at ease or collaborating with on-site specialty providers when concerns arise—sometimes during the same well-child visit—we strive to meet families where they are.

Because we care about the whole child and the whole family, we also partner with Reach Out and Read to provide free books to children ages 0 to 5 during well-child visits. Reading together strengthens the parent-child bond, and it’s one of the many ways we support healthy, resilient lives.
