Becoming a parent is one of life’s most exciting adventures AND one of the most overwhelming. That’s why Pediatric Associates of the Northwest (PANW) is back with our annual Baby Bonanza, a free event created just for new and expecting parents.
Join us on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 9 AM to 11 AM at our Portland office, where you’ll enjoy a fun and informative morning filled with expert guidance from our experienced providers, helpful resources, and plenty of opportunities to connect with others on the same path to parenthood.
What to Expect at Baby Bonanza
Baby Bonanza is designed to help you feel more confident and prepared as you welcome a new baby into your life. Our compassionate and knowledgeable medical and behavioral health providers, and community partners will be on hand to meet you and share evidence-based, realistic advice. Have questions? We have answers and all the time you need to chat and feel empowered. No lectures or long talks, just relaxed, come-as-you-are conversations that matter.
Whether you’re wondering what happens during a hospital stay, feeling anxious about soothing and getting your newborn to sleep, or wanting to be proactive about your own well-being as a new parent, we’ve got you covered. Plus, you’ll explore everything from feeding tips and early developmental milestones to postpartum recovery and parental wellness. Our community partner, Legacy Randall Children’s Hospital, will also be there to talk about all things safety-related like car seat installation and infant CPR, because feeling confident means knowing you’re ready for anything.
And if you’ve ever felt alone in your parenting questions, rest assured you’re not! This event brings together a community of people who get it, and who want to share support, resources, and encouragement.

We’re making this event as fun as it is informative! Expect tasty refreshments and snacks as you stroll through our open-house-style event. And yes, strollers are welcome! We’ve planned our event with comfort and convenience in mind for the whole family. The event space is wide open with restrooms nearby, and new parents who prefer a private space to nurse their baby are welcome to use a patient room in our office upstairs.
