My approach to supporting families with social and environmental needs is rooted in compassion, empowerment, and collaboration. I work to connect families with essential resources, foster self-advocacy, and serve as a bridge between the medical system and the community.

About me

Originally from Northern California, Emmy has always felt a strong connection to family and community. Whether babysitting, spending time with her siblings, or enjoying large gatherings with extended family and friends, those early experiences sparked her passion for working closely with families.

In Spring of 2024, Emmy completed the Community Health Worker program through Oregon State University and became a licensed CHW. Since joining Pediatric Associates of the Northwest as a Population and Community Health Coordinator, she has found it incredibly rewarding to connect with families and support a wide range of social and environmental needs. Emmy works in our Beaverton office.

Interests

Emmy is an avid gardener—a recently discovered passion over the last few years. She enjoys patiently tending to her garden throughout the growing season, finding peace in the daily care and routine it brings. What brings her the most joy though, is harvest time—getting to enjoy fresh herbs and vegetables throughout the summer and fall.

A dedicated reader, Emmy can often be found browsing the shelves at the library, enjoying a coffee and book at a café, or window-shopping at a favorite bookstore. Her favorite genres to read are fantasy, mystery, and historical fiction.

Emmy loves supporting her local community, whether it’s visiting the farmers market every Saturday to shop from local growers and makers, trying new restaurants and celebrating small businesses, or giving back through volunteer work whenever possible.

Family

Emmy’s family includes her spouse, Kris, and their two dogs, Woozy and Missy. Whether they’re enjoying long neighborhood walks, tossing a frisbee at the park, or cuddling up for a cozy movie night, she values the simple, joyful moments they share together.
