Designated Well and Response Care Clinic Locations

April 16, 2020

Designated Clinic Locations

In addition to good hand washing and avoiding sick contacts, physical distancing is one of the most effective strategies for protecting yourself and your families from COVID-19. PANW is taking our physical distancing responsibility to the next level. Starting Saturday, April 18th, we will be designating specific types of care for each of our two office locations.

**Please note: well visits already scheduled in Tigard for the morning of Monday, 4/20 will be honored. Rest assured, we are only seeing well patients during this time.

Well Care – Portland Office

Business Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

The Portland office will be dedicated to providing the best well care and routine follow-ups in the safest environment possible. We will see patients for well child appointments for all ages, lactation, immunizations, and non-respiratory and non-contagious concerns. Our providers will be available at both sites throughout the week and we will do our best to make sure patients see their PCP for their well visit.

Response Care - Tigard Office

Business Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm and Saturday-Sunday, 9am-12pm

The Tigard office will be dedicated to providing response care to patients who are not feeling well, or who have respiratory or potentially contagious concerns. All patients will start with a virtual telehealth visit. If your child’s provider feels it is necessary, he/she will follow-up with a quick in-person visit, though there are many things that can be addressed by a virtual visit only. If this occurs, patients will only be billed once.

To maintain the highest level of safety, every patient at both sites will continue to be thoroughly screened for every type of appointment before arriving at the office. Additionally, we remain vigilant about our infection control procedures and ask that only one accompanying adult attend visits (well and sick visits).

In alignment with the CDC’s recommendation that all individuals wear a mask in public, we are requesting that all patients and their accompanying adult wear a mask in our clinics. If patients have clean masks from home, we encourage the use of these.

Now Scheduling Well Visits For Children of All Ages

We are committed to safely providing essential services during this pandemic. Well visits have been deemed an “essential service.” We are pleased to share that we will be re-opening our schedules to well child appointments of all ages starting next week. We sincerely thank you for your patience as we focused on ensuring our youngest and most vulnerable patients could receive their preventative care over the last few weeks.

While opening back up to seeing well children of all ages, we have taken additional safety steps to maintain a safe environment for our patients and staff:

  • To minimize the time spent in the office, any necessary screening/questionnaire forms will be sent to patients electronically ahead of time through our secure patient portal. Forms will be sent within 48 hours of scheduling.
  • All appointments will begin with a short phone call in the morning before an in-office physical exam and appropriate immunizations later that same day.
