Relay for Life
Pediatric Associates of the Northwest was honored to be part of the successful and inspiring Relay for Life event on July 12, 2014 in Lake Oswego. Dr. Rosenbloom was PANW’s team leader, and was joined by Hollie Farrell and Amir Mencher. They were part of 26 teams who joined together to help raise more than $60,000 for the American Cancer Society.
The American Cancer Society saves more than 400 lives each and every day, and they “won’t stop until we finish the fight against cancer.” In addition to honoring cancer survivors, the Relay for Life event helps educate people about how to reduce their cancer risk. They also raise money to help fight cancer.
Dr. Rosenbloom and his team enjoyed distributing snow cones to Relay for Life participants. All money raised from the snow cones were donated to support the American Cancer Society. Other Relay for Life activities included a dinner honoring cancer survivors and caregivers, the 5K Lunar Stride Glow Run, CPR Training, candlelit yoga, tug-of-war and other games, karaoke, K-9 demonstrations, guest speakers, live music, and much more.
Pediatric Associates of the Northwest looks forward to being part of the 2015 Relay for Life event.
