PANW Staffers Run Like Hell for Molly's Fund!

December 04, 2014

Seven staff members from Pediatric Associates of the Northwest donned sneakers and Halloween costumes, and met at Pioneer Square on October 26th. They joined runners and walkers from all over the area for the 11th annual Run Like Hell event.  The Run Like Hell Race is a Halloween-themed race that sees participants dress in full costume for a run through the streets of Portland. It's a lot of fun for an important cause.

Proceeds from Run Like Hell go to Molly's Fund, a Portland-based non-profit that is changing the way people understand lupus, its diagnoses, and its treatment.  Under-researched and rarely understood, lupus affects more than 1.5 million Americans, resulting in pain, inflammation, and systemic damage. The mission of Molly's Fund is to educate the public and the medical community about lupus, to push for earlier, life-saving diagnoses for those afflicted, and to spur governments and foundations to fund research toward a cure.

In addition to sending a team of runners from our office to participate in the Run Like Hell event, Pediatric Associates of the Northwest was pleased to make a donation to Molly's Fund Fighting Lupus.
