Recalled H1N1 Vaccine
The clinic received some of the recalled H1N1 vaccine. It was recalled for potency concerns, but there is no safety issue.

All children under 10 years of age need two doses of H1N1 vaccine. The clinic is reviewing those patients who received the affected vaccine to ensure they receive their second dose and will contact patients. There is no need to re-vaccinate.

Seasonal Influenza Vaccine
12/15/09 Update

Pediatric Associates of the Northwest has received all of our seasonal flu vaccine. The manufacturers are not accepting orders for additional vaccine. Flu vaccine is made in two doses, one for children older than 3 years of age, and another for children younger than 3 years of age.

If your child is on our wait lists and is older than 3 years of age, we will not be able to give them a seasonal flu vaccine this year due to circumstances beyond our control. We apologize for any inconvenience.

If your child is on our wait lists and is younger than 3 years of age, we are calling from the wait lists to schedule appointments for the doses we have available.
