| Weekends and Holidays
If your child is sick on a weekend or holiday, please call between 8:30am and 10:00am for an appointment as our office is open limited hours on these days. If your regular provider is not available and your child needs to be seen urgently, we will schedule your child with another provider.
Phone Advice
We are available for your questions 24 hours a day, every day call us. There is always an advice nurse available during the day. When you call outside office hours our answering service will take a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible. Please be sure to tell the answering service as much as possible about your child's illness because the return calls are prioritized based on the urgency of the medical condition. The provider on call will help you to determine what the best course of treatment will be for your child.

This link contains general information and recommendations, please contact our office if you have more questions about your child's illness.
Hospitals
If you have an emergency, please call 911. If your child is sick, contact our office. The provider on call will help you decide if your child needs to be taken to a hospital. Our physicians have privileges at Legacy Emanuel Hospital. Providence St. Vincent Hospital and Oregon Health Sciences University can also accomodate your sick child. You will need to check with your insurance company to see which hospitals are contracted to see your sick child. |
